Direct Solutions, Inc. (DSG) is one of the few insurance direct distribution providers in Japan. For more than 10 years we have led the industry in group insurance incentive schemes. In 2013 we merged with CMI which has a large track record in predictive modeling and direct marketing in financial services for 30 years in New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, and China. Robert Thomson
As owner of Direct Solutions Group, Robert works to oversee the entire group from Asia to Europe, working with in-country staff to develop overall business strategies and market expansion plans.

Brian Schwartz
Brian has a Masters of Economics and Statistics from the University of Southern Denmark and an extensive career across the globe in banking and consulting. He is also DSG’s Chief Analyst with strengths in predictive modelling and business analysis. He has published his papers and advises financial institutions in various countries on predictive modelling.

Takaaki Hirai
Joined DSG after a successful career and promotion in the hotel and media industries. A response enthusiast who is well versed in behavioral economics and can maximise the response rates of direct mail. Graduated from Hosei University.
Advisor
Yuji Makino
Graduating from Keio University Faculty of Economics he has had an extensive career in insurance. Before being an advisor to DSG, he was Managing Executive Officer of Mitsui Life Insurance Company (currently Taijyu Life) and President and Representative Director of Sansei Storage Service Co., Ltd. As well as an insurance company director and an advisor, he has been an advisor to a major call centre operating company and real estate sales company.
